I am a Infantry squad leader in the Kansas Army National Guard and will be leaving for Iraq in August. If you contact Duane Sather, please tell him that Pete and Billy said hello. Message: I was in the Saber Blues from 69- 70 flew with Mike Wilde, Hoppy Collins, and most of the guys in the photos. I was good friends with Grafton and LT Conn, I went on a lot of missions with thoes guys. Also was there when Jason Petty got killed, when Toe Broadfoot had to be taken out when he he pushed two guys out of the way when a gernade was thrown back out of a bunker. Also when Doc lost it when we were flying into a hot area, the Cobras were prepping the area with rockets. Parker stepping on a bouncing betty and loosing his leg and taking the life of Grafton and Conn. I received two Air Medals that and a Bronze Starr that year. I want to thank all of you for the help and support that we received on the ground from from all of the choppers your were our eyes for us. I have alot of memories and their are very few days that go by that I don't think of all of my friends in Nam. Very nice web site. Thanks for the Honor!!!!!!!!!! Your Friend Roger Willis
