2025 D Troop Reunion
Forget about all of the election drama for a moment. Instead, I have some good news!
The 2025 D Troop Reunion in Washington DC will be based at the Hilton Garden Inn which is near Reagan National Airport in Arlington Virginia. Click Here to make your reservation. Hope to see you there. We have an excellent rate for a three night stay for the nights of 25 (check-in day) through 28 March (check-out day), 2025. We also have a complimentary buffet breakfast, free wifi, free airport shuttle service and reduced parking rates.

We have selected DC because it has been a perpetual reunion location request and we also thought that we should collectively recognize the sacrifice of those who were KIA. Fifty-plus years later, the pain of their loss remains in our hearts and minds. We are finalizing the agenda but a short version is as follows.

Tuesday the 25th will be the arrival day with a reception and dinner planned for the evening.

Wednesday the 26th will start at 0800 with  a charter bus pickup at the hotel with the first stop at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. We will locate the names of each of our 45 KIA and talk a bit about each. We will then take the bus to a restaurant for lunch and then on to Arlington National Cemetery to witness a Changing of the Guard and visit Unit Member's gravesites. At Arlington, we will request a Wreath Ceremony for our dead and will also read a list of those who have Died After Tour. The final event for Wednesday is a dinner.

On Thursday the 27th, all activities are individual or with small groups. There are a multitude of Things to do in D.C. and it will be cherry blossom season. We will organize small groups based on your interests. Also, if there is enough interest in a dinner we will organize one.

Also, special thanks to Chuck Abbott, Keith Aakre and Mike Gustin for their help in organizing and promoting the reunion.

So, please mark your calendars and plan to join us in DC to pay our respects to our comrades who gave their all.
