Message: Spent my first 12 months in Pleiku before coming to D Troop. Was a door gunner/crew chief with the Scout Platoon. Met a lot of good guys and had some very exciting times as a Scout. Many good memories of pilots, gunners, crew, and the "Blues". Anyone ever been in touch with Mr. Luke or Krehbiel? DDAP

Message: Was with the MP's initially from Oct 1969-Sept. 1970. Came back for another tour and shortly after that was kicked out of the MP's and assigned to D troop 1/1 Cav Scout Plt as a door gunner. After some thirty three years met up with Duane (Norton) Sather and Jay Klein this past June 2004 at Sather's home in Jamestown N.D. Had a great time talking about old times and catching up on newer times. Thank you Norton and please thank Jackie for me and my family. Is there any information about any 1/1 Cav reunion coming up in the not too distant future?
