Message: I was in the gun platoon Sabre 73 and 76. My first day in the AO was the day the LOH got shot down south of the Hoi An river while the slicks were refueling. Cpt. Parr nearly inserted me as a one man assault force from the front seat of the snake. Thankfully the slicks called in just befor our skids touched down. and all the guys from the LOH were rescued. It's great to be in touch with you guys. Mike, the site is really good and gets better all the time. Now that my elbow is better, I'll be seeing Corey on the golf course on a regular basis (he lives on the gulf coast and I'm on the Atlantic side).
