Message: I was with the original group at Fort Hood, Texas. I was the "Slick" crewchief of 67-17330 (23). Unfortunately it was D Troops first loss. I've been trying for years to locate information about D Troop and finally found this site after visiting Army Aircrews. Glad I found it and would like information about all future events.

Message: Started out in C 2/17 Cav and later infused into the ARP (BLUES)platoon of D 1/1 Cav when they arrived to Camp Eagle, 101 Airborne. Was wounded in A Shau valley just prior to the move to the Americal Div in Chu Lai in 69.

Message: Stopped by to see what's new. Looked at some slides I had of the year there. Have some of Lt Gallagar(sp?) Blues platoon leader but they are all behind him as he was firing a M-16 out the slick as we were proceeding feet wet back to Chu Lai from LZ Baldy. Take Care!
