Date: Wed 07/11/12 11:02AM From: Patricia Johnson Email: pj51@bellsouth.net City: State: Group: Scouts Years: Feb 71-May 71 Message: I am the wife of former scout pilot Russell Johnson. Russell passed away on 12/7/07. He spoke very highly of D Troop and was very proud of his service with them. He flew an OH6, number 16047 with "The Pacifier" on the side. This was the helicopter he was shot down in resulting in the loss of his leg. I'm trying to locate anyone that might have served with him to obtain copies of any pictures they may have of him during this time. I met him in 1972 after this era of his life. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
